We are pleased to be able to support a wide range of research programmes; axial SpA (AS) specific and others with a much broader remit such as chronic pain and well-being. You can see which studies we are advertising on our take part in research page.
There are a number of ways that we can support your research, some of which are subject to cost. For any queries please email Jill Hamilton for details.
NB: If you are considering asking for assistance from NASS recruiting participants in your research, this should be agreed prior to your funding application in writing. Requests in retrospect will not be considered.
Recruitment to studies and patient participation
We have a large audience of people affected by axial SpA (AS) and are happy to share projects with our members and supporters. Information for researchers to see if your project is eligible.
We also strongly encourage patient participation in study design and have access to a selection of people who have signed up to be part of our patient panel.
Letters of support
NASS is happy to offer letters of support on projects relating to axial SpA (AS) and other related areas.
Study design
We have successfully worked with researchers and other organisations on a number of projects. Please get in touch if you have a project that you would like us to give input to.
Co-applications
If you would like a member of the NASS team to be a co-applicant on an application we are more than happy to consider this.
Funding
NASS is not a research funding organisation, although we have had a small grants programme in the past due to a large legacy donation. We are not currently funding research but if you have a project that you feel will have a significant impact on the lives of people living with axial SpA (AS) please do get in touch.
